Sarah McVey, a PLTW teacher at Newcomerstown Middle School, has been selected to participate in the 2024-2025 STEM Rural Ohio Fellowship, a program designed to support rural educators in bringing STEM education to their classrooms.
The STEM Rural Ohio Fellowship is a year-long program that provides educators with professional development opportunities, resources, and networking connections to help them create and implement effective STEM curricula. Fellows will collaborate with other educators and experts in the field, and will receive a $350 grant to support their STEM classroom projects.
This is a great opportunity for Sarah McVey and Newcomerstown Middle School. The STEM Rural Ohio Fellowship will provide her with the tools and resources she needs to bring engaging and effective STEM education to her students.
The program is free to attend, and fellows are eligible for a $350 classroom grant.
