WNHS-LP 105.7 FM, “Newcomerstown’s Hometown Station”, was a low power nonprofit radio station that has been broadcasting to the Newcomerstown area since the fall of 2003. As an educational station students are responsible for the programming and announcements on the radio. We are proud to offer the students of Newcomerstown Schools this educational opportunity. Students of WNHS are exposed to a wide range of broadcast technologies along with practical experiences in public speaking. 

WNHS-LP's final FM broadcast was May 31st 2023 and Notification of Termination of Broadcasting for WNHS-LP 105.7 FM was filed with the FCC on June 6th 2023.

As of May 2023 WNHS-LP became WNHS ONLINE. The transition away from WNHS-LP 105.7 FM Newcomerstown to a streaming broadcast allows our students, parents, and community members a variety of ways to better access our Hometown Station.

Although students of Newcomerstown High School operate WNHS, the radio broadcast is not funded by the Newcomerstown Exempted Village School District. WHNS-LP is funded through grants and the contributions of community sponsors.
